Company Overview

G4S Offshore Islands have provided legionella control services for nine years. In the last year we have retained and consolidated a self-delivery model in both Jersey and Guernsey and have 2 experienced Risk Assessors in the Channel Islands. The service delivery model in both islands is supported by a relationship with UKAS accredited and LCA members SMS Environmental who support us with a small percentage of our more complex risk assessments and provide training, consultation and competency checks on both islands.

In the Channel Islands we have a dedicated Water Management team consisting of five engineers who are qualified in a range of the service delivery items that we provide. They are supported by our plumbing teams in both islands who are also qualified in Legionella Awareness.

We deliver Facilities Management services across both islands and all contracts managers are qualified in Legionella Awareness with a number of them qualified in the role of Dutyholder and Responsible Person. Direct service provision includes risk assessment services, cleaning and disinfection services, hot and cold water system monitoring services, sampling and plant & equipment. All samples are sent away to an LCA registered, UKAS accredited laboratory for analysis.
