G&D Higgins Mechanical Services Ltd, established in 1990, is a versatile company specialising in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, and the recently formed Water Hygiene Services (Well Water). Our headquarters are in Northwood Hillingdon. Well Water is our dedicated water division, focused on conducting water hygiene monitoring and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks for our valued clients. The water division operates independently with its own management system, procedures, employees, and sub-contractors. Our team consists of four skilled personnel, including the FM and Contracts Manager, Compliance Manager, and three experienced onsite engineers. It is important to note that all subcontractors utilised by Well Water will always be registered to the Legionella Control Association (LCA).

In line with our commitment to providing top-notch services and adhering to industry standards, we affirm our compliance with the Legionella Control Association's Code of Conduct for Service Providers. This document outlines how G&D Higgins Mechanical Services Ltd conducts its business operations, ensuring the fulfilment of all nine Service Provider Commitments specified in the Code of Conduct. Moreover, we strive to align our practices and procedures with current legislation and guidance, particularly emphasizing the HSE Approved Code of Practice and Guidance Document titled 'Legionnaires disease; the Control of legionella bacteria in water systems (ACoP L8) 4th edition'. By doing so, we aim to offer our clients a service that is fully compliant and in accordance with the highest standards.
