Company Overview

Amalgamated Facilities Management deliver Facilities Management services in both Guernsey and Jersey and have provided legionella control services for approximately 13 years. We have a dedicated in-house team of 6 legionella service personnel and 2 legionella risk assessors Pan Island supported by 2 experienced managers (both hold qualifications).

The services offered by Amalgamated Facilities Management under the scope of this code of conduct are limited to:

1. Risk Assessment Services

3. Hot and Cold-Water Monitoring and Inspection Services

4. Cleaning and Disinfection Services

7. Legionella Monitoring Services

8. Plant and Equipment Services

All services are provided in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice & Guidance for the Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems (L8) and the Legionella Control Association’s Standards for delivery.

It is a requirement of LCA membership that Member Companies must have in place formal written procedures to cover their Legionella control activities and that these procedures are followed in practice and that records are kept. The formal written procedures are summarised in this “Statement of Compliance” (SoC) and explain how we comply with the Code of Conduct.

This “Statement of Compliance” is intended to be a working document and will be reviewed annually, updated as required and should be referenced back to numbered points of the LCA.
